Love/Hate

I have developed a love/hate relationship with my hot glue gun. I started out loving my hot glue gun. Until about a month or two ago I had no idea all the fun I could have by owning a hot glue gun. It seems to be a simple enough tool but FUN. But recently, I really hate my hot glue gun. I have more expletives going through my head....and I won't lie one came out last night. opps.  I suppose they call it a HOT glue gun for a reason. It inflicts soo much pain. If only I wouldn't touch the hot glue. But how do I create my beautiful creations without touching the hot glue? Is the pain worth the gain?

This one isn't one of my favorites but I'm proud of myself because I came up with the idea all on my own...Victory isn't a fan, well its not his favorite because he says flowers aren't brown. Really its a hair bow! not a flower! Gotta love boys and how literal they are. :)

Here are a few of the bracelets I made this week...I hope to sell them at the garage sale my sister in law is having at my mom's house this weekend.
How much would you pay for a baby bracelet...at a garage sale?
.................
Now for some pictures of little girl at the park in her first swing...at least the first time she has gone to the park and swung with us. (thats the sad part about working and having Bekah babysat-I know and hope she is having fun while she is away but she could have very well already been in a swing at the park.)

Ready?

Get Set.....
GO!!!
LOVE THIS GIRL!! and that Daddy of hers!!

Victory is off to football camp ths weekend. :( And he's taking my car. :( :(  That means that IF I'm going to drive I'm stuck with a stick. I'll just say this: sticks and I do not mix! Little girl and I are probably going to be hanging at my mom's house and garage sale-ing at their neighborhood garage sale this weekend. I hope I find some good buys!! Victory knows (very well) that when he leaves me alone for too long I spend $$$. He was probably thinking that if he took my car I wouldn't be able to shop...Mwahhhaaa when there's a will theres a way!! :) jk.

You could try using a popsicle stick instead. I know there is different glue that you can use that sticks well, but I like hot glue the best. good luck with garage sells! I love them!

You are soo creative! The bows and bracelets are cute! I love the pic of Rebekah in the sweing and her crazy hair! Oh fyi you can tell Tory that there are infact brown flowers- I had some in my bridal bouquet that were REAL and not dyed. lol

Hairbow flowers can be brown. When making a bow to sell to someone my rule is that if I some how draw blood or burn myself in the process I charge extra for the bow. j/k but I say that I am going to and it makes me feel better. I would say for the braclets $2-3. You are so lucky to be able to hang out at Mom's while your husband is away. Maybe you should turn in all of your cards to Victory so you'll behave yourself. :)

So did you make the flower by using thaT pattern but used the satin? Its cute. Did you find any good deals at the neighborhood garage sales? I'm bummed that I missed it.

You are too funny!! I LOVE my hot glue gun... how's a girl suppose to live without it!!? HOWEVER, I get SO angry whenever I burn myself... its the worst. I LOVE what you've made. Cute cute things! And... I want to buy like 3 or 4 of your bracelets for new baby. so... could I come pick some out before you sell them? or just save me a few and I will pay you whatever you want. Ive been too lazy to make them, but want them :) Hope youre doing great. Have a fun girls weekend without the husband. Call if you get bored :)

Definitely worth the pain...but, yea, Popsicle sticks work well!

We are definitely going to have to get together sometime so you can show me how to make all those bows.

I'm bummed I missed out on the garage sales!
