Announcing Our Little Girl Haines

Hello Friends! We are proud to announce that we are no longer just Victory and Alissa. We are now the Haines Family!
She measured in at 9lbs 9oz and 22 inches! We are both smitten with her and love her very much.

The sad news is that they think she has pneumonia and will need oxygen and antibiotics for seven days. Which means she will be in the NICU during that time. Otherwise she is doing really well.

Congrats. She's a cutie, and well worth the wait:) Good luck with the NICU, I know it must be a pain to not be able to take her home right away--but a healthy baby is a happy baby.

I don't want to sound insensitive by being curious, but how does that happen? I am so glad for modern medicine, and how they just know what is wrong and how to fix it! You are in my prayers, Alissa. By the way, I love the spelling of Rebekah, after all, that is how our parents named my sister. Is there any one in yours or Victory's family you named her after?

Congrats to both of you:) You will make great parents - Rebekah is a lucky girl to be raised in your home. We'll keep her in our prayers here in Oregon.

Congrats! I've been waiting for the news! It's too bad that she's in the NICU, but believe me there's a lot worse things that could have happened instead of pneumonia! I hope that you enjoy motherhood (despite the lack of sleep). She's a beauty!
