Hey just a few things I want to share:
1. Little girl crawled last night!!! I'm so excited for her....but I'm also worried for what crawling will bring. Looks like I'll be baby proofing our apt. this weekend.
2. I'm an aunt to a new niece...don't know her name yet. That makes....uh... a lot...(i'm counting in my head)....38 on the Randall side. With the Haines side included that makes Victory and I aunt and uncle to 42 almost 43 neices and nephews.
3. My second nephew got married this weekend! It was lovely. It was my first live sealing that I've been to except for my own. (gosh darn all my friends for getting married before me....thats alright I forgvie you)
4. I think I'm finally healthy again! phew! I was suffering uncomfortable side effects of my previous illness but I think I'm okay now. YAY!
I think that's all for now. Life is good. :)

Doctors
*note: I'm sorry to all you aspiring doctors (my brother in law included)*
**if you're not in the mood for venting then just skip this post. (no offense taken.) :)
Doctors, you are all full of patootie!!
I'm sorry. I am. I'm just venting. I know you do good and have given my girl and I perscriptions that have worked but it's just so frustrating to see a $100 dollars out of my pocket for you not to come up with the correct diagnosis. And then perscribe her with a $50 (with insurance) medication that has done diddily squat for her and now you want me to come back in and give you another $100? And imbetween the perscription that did nothing and my next $100 visit I'm supposed to go get another perscription (not so bad becasue I know its only about $10.) I really do hate it. My insurance doesn't really kick in until I reach my deductible. The part that really stinks...and it stinks because its my situation, is that I'll be switiching insurances in August when I quit my job...so all this money towards a deductible that I'll probably only reach once its time for me to switch.
Little girl saw a different doctor than her regular doctor and I sooo was not convinced that she was giving her the correct diagnosis. My little girl has a cough...a nasty cough that she's had for over a month. She gets thick icky green snot in her nose. Other than these symptoms she's perfectly fine. When I took her in, the doctor says her lungs, nose and ears are clear. WHAT? I just cleaned out a TON of snot out of her nose that morning. Her babysitter mentioned her nasty cough...I know I wasn't imagining things. The doctor thought it was a result of reflux so she perscribed her prevacid which the pharmacy had to compund for her. (I really don't know what that means.) Anyway, aspiring doctor friends what do you think? Am I bad for not wanting to take her back? Is a cough normal...possibly?
Sorry for the venting...but I've got to get it out or else I keep replaying my frustrations in my mind only to get more upset.

bummer.
So this weekend was a total bummer...and it kinda continues to be so. On Friday, within the hour that I got home I got sick. Apparently, it's a virus and it can last 7 days. Well I'm on day 5 and I'm still running to the bathroom. (sorry if that was TMI). So needless to say, no Saturday garage sale-ing for me. (How do you spell that btw? its not garage selling and you can't wring saling, that just isn't right. English majors, help me out.)
I've been just laying around and trying to take care of little girl. My mom was so kind to convince me to come over and stay the night Friday so she could help take care of my girl. So helpful. Although, she was gone most of Saturday to the temple, but for the hours she was there it made a difference. Its hard to be mom and be sick at the same time. You've just got to buck it up and clean up that spit up, change that poopy diaper, pay attention to your baby, and feed her when all you want to do is curl up in a ball and sleep. (moms are pretty awesome aren't they?)
My sister-in-law still had the garage sale on Saturday. It didn't go over too well. Apparently the big day for the neighborhood is Friday. None of my bracelets sold. My sister-in-law said that a lot of people looked at them and made nice comments on them but no one bought them. Oh well, I purposely made all the really cute and unique ones Bekah's size so she could wear them if they didn't sell. However, a little girl did buy my yellow flower that I posted about last time!
Anyway, here's some cute pictures I got of little girl thes last two days. She is learning so much! She working on scooting/crawling. She' still not very good at it. And today she figured out how to sit up on her own! WOW!
until next time!

She's learning to pull herself up with the help of tables, pant legs and pretty much anything in sight. She either decided to stop and taste the table on the way up or she's using her mouth to help pull herself up.
I have no idea what that look is all about. But I thought it was pretty funny.
until next time!

Love/Hate
I have developed a love/hate relationship with my hot glue gun. I started out loving my hot glue gun. Until about a month or two ago I had no idea all the fun I could have by owning a hot glue gun. It seems to be a simple enough tool but FUN. But recently, I really hate my hot glue gun. I have more expletives going through my head....and I won't lie one came out last night. opps. I suppose they call it a HOT glue gun for a reason. It inflicts soo much pain. If only I wouldn't touch the hot glue. But how do I create my beautiful creations without touching the hot glue? Is the pain worth the gain?
This one isn't one of my favorites but I'm proud of myself because I came up with the idea all on my own...Victory isn't a fan, well its not his favorite because he says flowers aren't brown. Really its a hair bow! not a flower! Gotta love boys and how literal they are. :)
Here are a few of the bracelets I made this week...I hope to sell them at the garage sale my sister in law is having at my mom's house this weekend.

How much would you pay for a baby bracelet...at a garage sale?
.................
Now for some pictures of little girl at the park in her first swing...at least the first time she has gone to the park and swung with us. (thats the sad part about working and having Bekah babysat-I know and hope she is having fun while she is away but she could have very well already been in a swing at the park.)
Ready?
Get Set.....
GO!!!
LOVE THIS GIRL!! and that Daddy of hers!!
Victory is off to football camp ths weekend. :( And he's taking my car. :( :( That means that IF I'm going to drive I'm stuck with a stick. I'll just say this: sticks and I do not mix! Little girl and I are probably going to be hanging at my mom's house and garage sale-ing at their neighborhood garage sale this weekend. I hope I find some good buys!! Victory knows (very well) that when he leaves me alone for too long I spend $$$. He was probably thinking that if he took my car I wouldn't be able to shop...Mwahhhaaa when there's a will theres a way!! :) jk.

First Taste
I signed up for a program called Kraft First Taste. They'll send me coupons to try out their products, fill out a survey and tell my friends about the product. The first time they sent me a $1 off coupon for Oreo Cakesters...I thought it was pretty lame but this last time I got 6 coupons for FREE products! Awesome! So here's my product review.
Oscar Meyer Turkey Bacon- Blgh. I guess it low fat option but it was very thin and it didn't really taste like bacon to me. Victory didn't seem to mind it too much.
Oscar Meyer DeliFresh meat- Good. Not much to report there....its deli meat. I guess I don't have much of an opinion about it. Victory liked his sandwich...not sure if it was just the sandwich or the meat but he said he liked it.
Kool-Aid Fun Fizz- only 5 calories (I think). They are individual tablets that dissolve in a glass of water. Not a fan. If I want a sugar free drink I'm going to go for Crystal light.
Homestyle Macaroni and Cheese- Pretty good. A lot of work for mac and cheese but tastes pretty good. Very much homestyle because with milk, butter and their seasoning packet you have to make a sauce that thickens and add the cheese packet which melts in the sauce. Good if you want a fancier mac and cheese dinner....even comes with bread crumbs to top it with. :)
Ritz Crackerfuls- I like them. Very crispy crackers. Victory doesn't think you get very much for as much as you would have to pay for them. But I think they were tasty enough.
And theres still one more I haven't found yet. 100 calorie packs of some kind of cheese crackers. Anyway, awesome deal! Sign up for it... I think you can still get these coupons.

Headers
Quick question to those of you who have cute headers...how do you do it?? Do you pay for them or can you design them yourself? HELP! I want a cute one but don't know how to do it. And it drives me crazy that I can't figure it out.
p.s. don't miss the Summer Fun post below.

Summer FUN
We actually got to do some fun summer activities this last week. Little girl attended her very first sporting event. Like me, she has no idea what she has gotten herself into with Victory being her dad. :) For better or worse, sports will be a big part of our life. Anyway, Victory's class did fantasy baseball and competed with other classes. His class won and got free tickets to the game....so we got to go too! I like the atomosphere of baseball games but it does get a little boring. However, Little girl kept the other teachers entertained and even made it on the big screen!
Saturday morning we went to the Farmers market down in the Haymarket. We ran into a few friends perusing the stands. I love the farmers market. I bought asparagus for the first time...apparently it is a fabulous vegetable that I have never experienced. My co-workers love it and say its their favorite vegetable. I plan on cooking it tonight...so we'll see how it goes. I have a feeling I won't particularly love it but I'm going to be brave. I'm starting to realize if little girl is going to have a healthy repertoire of foods I better expand my horizons beyond my limited selection.
Monday was our anniversary so my parents (mostly my mom) watched our girl over night so we could actually get a good nights sleep. I still woke up four times about when she would normally start to cry but it was nice not to have to get out of bed. My favorite part was that in the morning we went on a walk...the attempt was a run but I am soooo out of shape that it mostly was just a walk. :) I miss just walking/running with Victory.
For Memorial day we hung out at my parents house. Rebekah had her first pool experience. She quite enjoyed it until she spit up vegetable beef into the pool. haha. gorss.
Overall, we had a good day. I'm just wishing that Tuesday wasn't a work day. I want to stay home. :(
Hope your weekend was great and that you had lots of fun too!
